Breakthrough author Andrew Yorke and rising arts organization xteamartists (XTA) present a unique insight into the life of one of the iconic figures of the 20th century, Sharon Tate. A culmination of meticulous research and personal devotion, this story is an illustration of seminal moments in Sharon’s life: her birth; her first auditions; her stay in Jean Harlow’s home; her marriage to director Roman Polanski; her role in the film adaptation of Jacqueline Susann’s “Valley of the Dolls”; even her pregnancy and untimely death – through the eyes of her unborn child. Yorke takes her most pivotal and controversial moments and weaves together an unequivocally personal account of Sharon’s life and the collective human experience.

The Collector’s Edition was published on Sharon’s 69th birthday and includes an overture, as well as biographical annotations that further illuminate readers. This work has been prepared with careful attention to provide readers with a quality usually reserved for print. Digital Collector’s Edition breathes new life into a tragic icon of 20th century Hollywood

DALLAS, TX –– Breakthrough author Andrew Yorke and rising arts organisation xteamartists, LLC (XTA) will release a one-of-a-kind literary journey for the Kindle Fire and older Kindle devices on 24 January 2012. The story centres on the life of one of the most iconic and tragic figures of 20th century Hollywood.

Yorke’s work, currently under the code name XL-001, is the product of meticulous research and time invested with XTA to provide one of the most unique literary experiences of the 21st century. The subject — to be revealed to the public on what would be her 69th birthday — was a tragic figure who died suddenly and violently, before the world fully understood who she was. Writer Andrew Yorke, in his first published work, reaches into the past and into himself to find that purest human expression that not only illustrates the life of this woman, but embraces the many intimate moments of the collective human experience.

XTA is offering members of the press advance copies of the work before it reaches publication on 24 January. Individuals interested in obtaining an advance copy may e-mail the XTA Press Centre at press@xteamartists.com. Also, XTA will release digital postcards — teaser images for the story — through the Press Centre for every day leading up to publication. This is the first published work from Andrew Yorke. He is currently working on his next literary piece, a full-length novel under the code name XL-002. He is the Director of Production on the upcoming motion picture VIDEOTAPE and a Co-Founder & Director of Operations of xteamartists, LLC.
